Another day in paradise working toward my goals.

Aloha Hustlers! Today started out somewhat slow. I started doing UberXL, UberX Priority, and UberEats. My first order was $27 to drive from Ewa Beach to Schofield Barracks. Normally I wouldn't take an order to Schofield because you get stuck up there and are given terrible offers, but I did this one because it was my first order of the day. It allowed me to make some phone calls while making a few dollars, so I took it. I didn't get any decent offers while up there so headed back south and got a few small rides here and there. Then I got an XL call from Waikele Outlet mall. While on this ride I got a reservation request to the airport. I didn't have time to look at the whole offer so I ended up taking it. It was a round trip offer from town to the airport and back. It ended up being more profitable because we had to wait for the family to get off the plane. This took me into Waikiki and I realized there are a lot of people in town for graduations and there is a conference in town. This was great to know, because I might make a more concerted effort to be closer to town for ride requests. I also took about 30 minutes off the app around 2:30 to handle some other items that needed my attention and have some of the lunch I brought along. I do recommend having food, snacks, and drinks so you don't have to stop and eat. If you can snack between rides, you are more likely to get these higher priced rides.
I've learned that many drivers will do their "errands" or "Pit-stops" with the app running. I found out that is why sometimes the driver will not be moving for 10-15 minutes after I've ordered a ride. I wouldn't do this, but it seems a lot of drivers do so they can maximize earnings.
